(ii) 'The Table of Destiny / The Square of Seven Sevens / The Patience of the Stars / 10th House of Honours and Deeds / 9th House etc......' in red, black and blue ink. Signed: 'Frederick Carter....... Patent applied for / Registered Stationers Hall.' S 320 x 242

(iii) Envelope, dated S Jul 1958, addressed to ~Carter, 66 Abbey Road, N.W.S. on which Carter has written in blue ink: 'The Game / Characters and Qualities/ ? k Cribbage scored in 3 7's x 3 beginning 111 to 999 then +1 to make 1000/6 x 6+1'. S 125 x 190

(iv) Folded sheet . Titled: 'Signatura Rerum / Motion of N. Celestial pole corresponding to motion of equinox below, showing Carter's calculations. At the bottom is written: ' Motion of Vernal Equinox along eclipse' The diagram shows the astrological houses with a time chart starting in BC 21,000 to 1920.  Pencil, red and black ink. S 273 x 388

(vii) Design for game board . Each of the 49 squares ( 7 x 7 ) illustrates an astrological symbol or figure starting with Aries and ending with Pisces.

(vi) 'A Map of the Ancient Constellations by Frederick Carter ' in black ink .At the bottom is written: ' A MAP OF THE 49 ANCIENT CONSTELLATIONS' by FREDERICK CARTER.'  S 265 x 202.

The designs echo his entire output but they are fresh interpretations of his increasing absorption in religion, astrology and revelation. This sheet represents the only surviving example of his symbolic system. Drawing in black ink.   S 397 x 360
